Culligan RO Frequently Asked Questions

How much do Culligan water filters cost?

Culligan propriety water filters can be very expensive. We offer compatible high-quality filters, RO membranes, cartridges, and lamps that cost much less but provide that same clean, great-tasting drinking water you'd expect. By installing Culligan-compatible reverse osmosis filter replacements and taking care of routine system maintenance yourself, you can save quite a bit of money.

How do I order replacement filters for my Culligan drinking water filtration system?

Start by clicking on the photo of your Culligan system above. From there, you can add the needed filters to your cart. In some cases, you can save time by ordering all of the needed filters in one "filter kit" (not available for all Culligan models). Keep in mind that the RO membrane usually only needs to be replaced every two years, while the sediment and carbon filters are replaced every 6-12 months depending on water usage and water quality.

Will these compatible filters work directly with my Culligan RO filtration system?

Some filters will work directly with your Culligan reverse osmosis system and others will require a "conversion kit" be installed first (such as the Culligan Aqua-Clear model). A retrofit kit allows you to keep using your current Culligan tank and faucet, but by installing a new manifold (component that holds the filters), you're able to use less expensive Culligan-compatible filters going forward. Our customer support team is happy to answer any questions you might have about this process. 877-377-9876 Mon-Friday, 8 am to 5 pm CT. Learn how to convert your Culligan system so non-proprietary filters can be used.

What contaminants will these Culligan-compatible filters remove?

Culligan-compatible reverse osmosis filters and membrane can remove common pollutants from water including pesticides, sulfates, fluoride, nitrates, lead, pharmaceuticals, Arsenic V, forever chemicals, and more. The RO system's carbon filter will also remove chloramines and chlorine and many other contaminants can be removed with reverse osmosis filtration.
